Walk-in showers, custom tile and full bathroom renovations for homes across Middlesex County. One builder designs it, permits it and builds it, and you deal with Adam, the owner, the whole way through.
Most Middlesex County homes were built between 1950 and 1980, and most of them were built with one full bathroom. That is the room we get called about most: a hall bath that the whole family shares, still wearing its original tile, or a 1980s primary bath with a jetted tub nobody uses. Here is what we build.
Everything out to the studs: new plumbing where it is needed, waterproofing, tile, vanity, lighting and fixtures, finished as one job by one crew.
Custom tiled walk-in showers with niches, benches and frameless glass, built on a proper waterproofing membrane so the tile lasts.
Swap the tub you never use for a walk-in shower. The most common request we get in Middlesex primary and hall bathrooms.
New tubs with tiled or solid-surface surrounds for the family bath, so the kids still have a tub and the room still looks new.
Double vanities, comfort-height fit-outs, new lighting, mirrors and tile floors, including radiant heat while the floor is already up.
Durable, easy-to-clean family bathrooms with the storage and ventilation a shared bath actually needs.
Six bathrooms from six different homes, all remodeled by Legion Build across Middlesex County and the surrounding counties. Different layouts, different budgets, the same standard of tile work and waterproofing.

Most bathroom remodels we build in Middlesex County land between $18,000 and $55,000+. Where yours falls comes down to two things: whether the plumbing moves, and how much tile work goes into the shower.
New tub or shower, vanity, toilet, tile and fixtures in the existing layout. Nothing moves behind the walls.
A custom tiled shower, upgraded vanity and lighting, and some plumbing relocated. Most bathrooms we build land here.
Layout reworked, custom tile throughout, frameless glass and a heated floor. Usually includes a tub-to-shower conversion.
Typical project totals for a standard-size bathroom. See the full bathroom remodel cost guide for what moves the number.
Older Middlesex capes and ranches often have original cast-iron drains and galvanized supply lines behind the walls. When we find them, replacing them while the room is open costs far less than coming back later. We price that honestly at the estimate instead of surprising you mid-job.
The owner quotes the job, runs the crew and answers your calls. No salesman in between and no franchise office deciding what your bathroom gets.
Proper membrane, slope and drainage are what keep a new shower from turning into a leak five years from now. It is the part you never see, and the part we never rush.
In a house with one full bath, downtime matters. Everything is ordered and on site before demolition, so the room is out of service for weeks rather than months.
A bathroom is a short job with a lot of disruption, so we plan it tightly. Here is what happens from the first call to the finished room.
Adam comes out, measures the room, talks through layout, tile and fixtures with you, and puts a written quote in your hands with the scope spelled out.
We settle the layout and selections, prepare the drawings and file the plumbing and electrical permits with your town where the work calls for them.
Tile, vanity, glass and fixtures are on site before demolition starts, so your bathroom is out of service for weeks, not months. One crew, start to finish.
Inspections are signed off, the frameless glass goes in last, and we walk the finished room with you before we call it done.
Under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code, moving plumbing or adding electrical circuits in a bathroom needs a permit from your town’s construction office, with plumbing and electrical inspections before the walls are closed. Swapping fixtures in place often does not.
The Middlesex County towns do not all run the process the same way. Some take applications online and some still work on paper. We prepare the drawings, file the permit and meet the inspectors on every bathroom we build, so this is the part you hand over. You can see how each township’s office works on our Middlesex County remodeling page.
Legion Build remodels bathrooms throughout Middlesex County, from the post-war capes and split-levels in Edison, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, Sayreville and Woodbridge to the newer colonials in Monroe, South Brunswick and Plainsboro, where a builder-grade primary bath is often first on the list.

Most bathroom remodels we build in Middlesex County cost between $18,000 and $55,000+. A basic remodel in the existing layout runs about $18,000 to $25,000, a custom tiled shower with some plumbing moved runs $25,000 to $40,000, and a full renovation with frameless glass and a heated floor runs $40,000 to $55,000 or more.
Usually a few weeks of work once demolition starts. We order tile, the vanity, fixtures and glass before the room comes apart, so you are not waiting on deliveries with no bathroom. Frameless glass is measured after the tile is set, so it is the last thing in.
If you are moving plumbing or adding electrical circuits, yes. The permit is issued by your own township’s construction office under the New Jersey Uniform Construction Code. We prepare the drawings, file it and handle the inspections.
Yes, and it is the most common bathroom request we get. In a primary bathroom used by adults it is usually the right call. If it is the only tub in the house and you have young children or plan to sell, we will talk through keeping one.
Often, yes. In many Middlesex County capes, ranches and split-levels the answer is a new bathroom in the basement or a half bath off the main floor. It depends on where the drain lines can run, which we check at the estimate.
In older homes it is almost always ventilation. An undersized fan, or one that vents into the attic instead of outside, is the most common problem we find. Sizing the fan correctly and venting it outdoors fixes most cases, and we build that into every remodel.
